First Deployment of Italian NH90 in Afghanistan

The first batch of NH90 is deployed and operational in Afghanistan

Italy plans to operate six NH90 in Aghanistan for six months.

They will perform tactical transport missions along with CH47 and A129 helicopters.
This is the first time the NH90 is deployed on a theatre of operations.
