Meravo selects Eurocopter EC145 helicopter

Commercial helicopter operator Meravo has selected the Eurocopter EC145 Mercedes-Benz Style helicopter to expand its corporate and charter services. The EC145 will join Meravo’s fleet of 25 helicopters, which already includes the Eurocopter EC120, AS350, AS355 and EC145.

Meravo performs a broad range of helicopter missions, such as business and shuttle flights as well as aerial work operations. The company will receive its new aircraft in summer 2013.

The EC145 Mercedes-Benz Style is designed for flexible and comfortable transportation. Created in a styling project led by the Mercedes-Benz Advanced Design Studio in Como, Italy, the interior of the aircraft is inspired by the automaker’s range of high-end vehicles. It features deluxe materials, elegant woods and ambient cabin lighting, along with multi-function storage areas.

Thomas Hein, Eurocopter Vice President of Customer Relations Europe, said: ‘With the EC145 Mercedes-Benz Style, a new silver star will appear in the German business aviation market.
