Special Forces Cessna 172RG Cutlass for Lithuanian Air Force

Cessna 172RG Cutlass RG II ‘77 Blue’ is a recent addition to the Karin e˙ s oro paj e˙ gos (KOP, Lithuanian Air Force) order of battle.

As LY-AVR, the aircraft was formerly assigned to the Lithuanian State Border Guard Service, with which it had served since 2001 – it was this service’s only fixedwing aircraft. According to local sources, the Cessna has been transferred to the air force to support the country’s special forces.
