Boeing November Deliveries Drop 17%, Lagging Behind Airbus

The U.S. planemaker handed over 44 jets last month, trailing Airbus’ 72 deliveries, while securing 126 net new orders.

Boeing (BA.N) reported delivering 44 aircraft in November, a 17% decline from the 53 jets handed over in October. The U.S. aerospace giant fell behind its European rival Airbus (AIR.PA), which delivered 72 planes during the same period.

Of Boeing’s November deliveries, 32 were its best-selling single-aisle 737 MAX jets, including five delivered to Southwest Airlines (LUV.N).

Despite the slowdown in deliveries, Boeing recorded strong demand, receiving 164 new orders in November. After accounting for 38 cancellations, the company ended the month with 126 net new orders.

The figures highlight Boeing’s ongoing efforts to balance production challenges with rising demand, as competition with Airbus remains intense in the global commercial aviation market.
