Note: By 2026, Royal Oman Police Aviation has significantly modernized its rotary-wing capacity, transitioning largely to the Leonardo AW139 and AW109 platforms. This unit works in close coordination with the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) to maintain maritime domain awareness. The Police Coast Guard operates a large fleet of fast patrol boats and interceptors that act upon intelligence provided by the air wing. Oman also continues to strengthen its defense-industrial base through international agreements with partners like Rolls-Royce and Lockheed Martin for technical support and satellite-based tracking systems.
