These assets are primarily managed and operated by specialized squadrons within the Indonesian Air Force (TNI-AU) and support elements of the Indonesian Navy.

INDONESIAN GOVERNMENT AVIATION • State VIP Support Status:
Government-owned executive transport fleet. Operations: Primarily conducted by the Indonesian Air Force (TNI-AU) VIP Transport Squadron.

AIRCRAFT 12 PAX/VIP capable.

Strategic VIP Transport (PAX) with approx. 9 ac:

  • 1 Boeing 737-800BBJ (Presidential "Indonesia One").
  • 2 Dassault Falcon 8X (Long-range executive transport).
  • 1 Dassault Falcon 7X.
  • 1 Boeing 737-500.
  • 3 Boeing 737-400.
  • 1 Boeing 737-200.

Tactical VIP & Regional Liaison with approx. 9 ac:

  • 2 Fokker F-28-3000.
  • 1 Fokker F-28-1000.
  • 1 Fokker F-27-400M Troopship (VIP configuration).
  • 4 CASA CN235M-110 (VIP).
  • 1 Beechcraft 350i King Air (VIP) (Navy-operated for liaison/govt support).

HELICOPTERS 10 VIP/Govt capable.

Multi-Role & VIP Support (Helicopters) with 10 hel:

  • 9 Airbus AS332L Super Puma (NAS332L) (Configured for VIP and Combat SAR).
  • 1 Aerospatiale SA330SM Puma (NAS330SM) (Specialized VIP variant).
  • (Note: Additional rotary-wing support for regional government tasks is provided by the Air Force's H225M fleet and Army liaison units as required).

Note: By 2026, the Indonesian government has successfully streamlined its strategic executive transport by integrating the Falcon 8X and Falcon 7X into the Air Force's VIP wing to provide enhanced long-range capabilities for high-level officials. The government continues to utilize the Boeing 737-800BBJ as its primary presidential platform, while tactical and regional movements remain supported by the modernized AS332 Super Puma helicopter fleet. All state aviation assets are maintained under the "Minimum Essential Force" guidelines to ensure high readiness for official government and diplomatic duties.
